My name is Ilze Krastiņa — I'm an artist, interior decoration creator (murals, decorative plaster) and painter from a small, lesser-known country on the shores of the Baltic Sea. While Northern design heavily influences our local art scene, I’ve always been more intrigued by playfully flirting with the boundaries of taste, challenging every shade of grey. In my wall paintings and textured finishes, I find the most joy in the sensual interaction of contrasting materials and surfaces.
